SATURDAY, MAY 27TH AT 9:00 AM – ONTARIO PLACE NATURE WALK WITH TORONTO FIELD NATURALISTS AND ONTARIO PLACE FOR ALL

Leader: Zunaid Khan & Francesca Bouaoun

Meeting Spot: Entrance to Trillium Park

Walk Details: A 2.5-hour, 3 to 5 km circular walk over mostly paved, flat surfaces with a  few gentle slopes

Walk Description: We will explore the West Island of Ontario Place and take in views of Lake Ontario. As Ontario Place is located on a migration route there is always the opportunity to see a wide variety of birds. As we walk around West Island we’ll discuss the impact of the proposed redevelopment plans – for West Island in particular – on nature and public access to this great area along our waterfront.

May 22: Ontario Place 50 + 2 Birthday Celebration & Rally

Check out a recording of our Ontario Place Birthday Rally! Thank you for making it such a success!

We would be honoured to have you join Ontario Place for All and Ontarians in a 50 + 2 anniversary celebration of Ontario Place on Monday May 22 (Victoria Day, May long weekend) from 1-4PM at Trillium Park.

We missed celebrating Ontario Place in person for its 50th birthday due to the pandemic, so this is a great opportunity to get together and celebrate its past, present and future! There will be speakers, music, activities for the entire family and more.

Look forward to celebrating with you!
